Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we use it, and the choices available to visitors.

Policy last updated: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Justice-Denied.org (the “Site”) collects, uses, discloses, safeguards, and retains information. It applies to this website and the services used to operate it.

The Site is directed primarily to readers in the United States, and its reporting focuses mainly on Minnesota and U.S. legal and public-interest matters. Availability of published material outside the United States does not mean that the Site targets readers in other jurisdictions. We collect only information reasonably needed to operate, secure, measure, and improve the Site and to respond when you contact us. We do not require visitor accounts, sell products, display Google Ads, or use personal data for targeted advertising.

1. Information We Collect

The only personal information we ask visitors to provide is information submitted voluntarily through our contact form. Depending on what you choose to send, that may include:

  • Your name
  • Your email address and the subject of your inquiry
  • The contents of your message and any other information you voluntarily include

Like most websites, the Site and its service providers also automatically process limited technical and usage information. This may include:

  • IP address, including addresses recorded in hosting, security, and StatCounter logs
  • Browser type and operating system
  • Device type, screen size, and similar technical information
  • Referring page, website, or general search source
  • Pages viewed and navigation through the Site
  • Date and time of a visit, visit duration, and related usage information
  • Approximate country, region, or city inferred from an IP address; we do not request GPS or precise device location
  • Cookies or randomly generated identifiers used by Google Analytics and StatCounter to distinguish visits and sessions

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site
  • Respond to contact-form inquiries
  • Understand aggregate traffic and how visitors use the Site
  • Improve the Site’s reporting, organization, accessibility, performance, and design
  • Understand how readers find the Site through search engines and referring websites
  • Detect spam, abuse, malicious activity, and technical problems, and comply with legal obligations

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for measurement, basic functionality, and security. We do not use Google Ads, advertising cookies, remarketing, or targeted advertising. Analytics cookies may be set as described below, subject to browser settings and any consent requirements that apply in a visitor’s location.

Google Analytics and Google Search Console

We use Google Analytics to understand visits, page views, referral sources, devices, engagement, and approximate location. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies and receives information such as the page URL and IP address; Google states that IP addresses are used to derive general location and are not made available to us as individual IP addresses. We use Google Search Console to review aggregated information about how the Site appears in Google Search, such as search queries, impressions, clicks, and indexing issues. We do not use either service for advertising. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services and review Google’s Privacy Policy.

You can limit Google Analytics by blocking or deleting cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

StatCounter

We use StatCounter to measure traffic and understand how visitors use the Site. StatCounter may process the date and time of a visit, IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, browser, operating system, device information, referring data, current page, and navigation activity. StatCounter may also set cookies used to distinguish first-time and returning visitors and estimate unique visits. We do not provide StatCounter with contact-form names, email addresses, or message contents. Review the StatCounter Privacy Policy, its cookie information, and its analytics-cookie refusal option.

WordPress, Hosting, Contact Form, and Security

WordPress and our hosting or security services may use cookies needed for site administration, security, or basic operation and may maintain technical logs containing information such as IP address, requested pages, timestamps, and browser information. Contact-form submissions may include technical metadata such as an IP address or user agent for spam prevention, security, and recordkeeping. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish human visitors from automated submissions. Turnstile evaluates browser and interaction signals and produces a verification token that is validated before a message is accepted. Review the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare Privacy Policy. The Site does not currently offer public user accounts, newsletter registration, public comments, or online purchases.

4. Service Providers and No Sale of Personal Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize personal data, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Limited information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, measure, maintain, or communicate through the Site, including our web host, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, StatCounter, and contact-form or email providers. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments and only for the services involved.

5. Data Retention

We retain contact-form submissions only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, protect the Site, or meet legal obligations. Hosting, security, Google, and StatCounter data are retained according to our configured settings and the providers’ applicable retention practices. We periodically review stored information and seek to minimize retention where practical.

6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights concerning personal data. Available choices may include:

  • Blocking or deleting cookies through your browser settings
  • Using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or StatCounter’s analytics-cookie refusal option
  • Requesting access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you submitted through the contact form, subject to applicable exceptions

Because we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising, we do not offer a separate “Do Not Sell” mechanism. We will respond to legally valid privacy requests and applicable browser-based privacy signals as required. To make a request, use the contact information at the end of this policy.

7. Security of Your Information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information and the Site. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request or collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that such information was submitted, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy as the Site, its services, or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Policy last updated” date.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, want to make a privacy-related request, or want us to review information you submitted through the contact form, please use our Contact page.
