Behind the cartoon
Craig Stevenson researched orders in the civil case he and Marie Stevenson brought against family members. He used that research to support their request to have Judge Kevin M. Miller step aside and set aside earlier rulings. Craig Stevenson's September 9, 2024 supplemental declaration quotes the defendants' opposition calling the lengths of his research alarming and beyond what was reasonable or appropriate for a litigant. The declaration identifies the passage as page 24 of defendants' opposition brief. The cartoon makes that advocacy an actual library alarm, with the public record as the object being read.
